Although you can start learning to fly at any age, the minimum age for obtaining your PPL is 17 years of age (however you may be authorised to fly solo at age 15).
The minimum required flight time to obtain your PPL is 40 hours (30 hours of dual instruction, 10 hours as pilot in command).
